Dealing with Metapysical and Paranormal anomalies

Every once in awhile we hypnotherapists are thrown into a subject matter covering Metaphysical and Paranormal anomalies where our clients are the victims of such behavior. My past 30 years' of hypnotherpay has brought me to many countries with clients in this category.

I deal with individuals as well as in the workshop scenario. Some of the subjects I have dealt with are past life repressions, projections into the future, metaphysical trauma, UFO abductions and paranormal activities. Dealing with such experiences requires a hypnosis technician who has professional training in these situations. The task of working in these sessions also requires the technician to take the victim into a deeper trance than normal working conditions. Brain waves need to be in the Theta or even Delta range. You as the hypnotherapist have to give the client an extreme sense of trust in you.

People who have had their memory banks of their mind subconsciously violated require extreme care. Most victims have never told their mate, friends, family, or even their priest or minister of these events when they could have happened many years ago. Clients often come to me after something triggers their conscious mind of an experience they have had in the past.

The client has to feel that you will not persuade them into any belief system or hidden agenda. Cross examinations must take place each time you work with your client so you know they are not creating these images pre-maturely and it is necessary to give them the post hypnotic suggestion of NOT remembering events of subconscious discussions until the sessions are over. Then explaining them in a lighter trance works best so when the sunject matter is discussed consciously the client feels safe in the transference of communications.

Normally I would suggest no less than three sessions are recommended although recently I concluded a case of a perported UFO abduction where I worked with a married couple of over 60 hours of hypnosis each. It is critical to referr an experienced hypnotherapist with metaphysical and paranormal training in the extraction of subconscious information for these victims.

To each client in this category you represent the opportunity to reach past the trauma and quite possibly where the client could not find a counseler, clergy person or therapist who could help or even believe them. Cover your reputation with signed disclaimers to protect yourself against liability issues. The subject matter to your prospective client is probably the most important issue in their life at this time.
