Yahoo! Email Address Issues
The Yahoo! free email service seems to go through waves of problems. In their efforts to filter spam email, they employ several sorts of delayed-delivery, aggressive filtering and email-rejection systems.
Because of this, newsletters, journal emails, emails of contacts from this site and passwords emailed to Yahoo! email accounts from this site often do not get through. Check your Yahoo! junk-mail folder first. You can also try white-listing aaph.org. Check on Yahoo! for instructions on how to white-list an email address.
If your password or other email isn't in the junk-mail folder, then unfortunately, there isn't much we can do.
We have contacted Yahoo! support several times, and have received no help or resolution to these issues. From the other postings and email-help pages we see around the Internet, this is apparently a common problem. For a good example of this, see Sysop.com's posting about whitelisting email, and read the section on Yahoo!.
Our only recommendation is to use another email service provider. Your ISP (for example, Comcast) provides an email account for you, or free services such as GMail by Google.
